Well after disappearing from all my social medium platforms and my website for rather a long time, I'm back...with news!

After almost five years of writer's block, I've finally finished a new novel and am now busily revising it. It's a romantic maritime thriller, due out at the end of the year, and I'm absolutely delighted with it.

I think it may be the best book I've ever written..but then I say that about all of them. Books are like children: you really shouldn't have favourites. Mine are all very different, rather like the characters in my Square Peg novels.

At the moment, this bokk has completely taken over my life. The housework is being ignored, the garden is running wild, and my other hobbies have been abandoned. Shock, horror, I'm not even reading...and I've always lived to read.

​The one thing, I'll never forget though, is my wonderful family and friends. It's lovely to be back.
